Note: This is an earlier casting of the kit.
This kit is to be used with the Monogram 1/32 scale Apollo CSM to
model the Apollo 15 SIM bay used to study the moon from orbit. The
pieces include the bulkheads, science instruments, subsatellite, and
EVA handrails and foot restraint. The parts have fine detail, with
details molded into the bulkheads. The illustrated instructions name
the parts by their real function, which makes for an educational, as
well as accurate, kit. The instructions also include details on the
modifications that are required to merge this kit with the Monogram
kit. A photo of the completed kit on the box cover will also help
with assembly and painting.
