These parts are intended to replace the woefully undersized and non-batted F-1 engines in the Dragon Models Apollo 11 Saturn V or Saturn V with Skylab kits. The upper turbopump parts are solid, while the lower combustion chamber parts are hollow with no internal detail. The parts are molded with crisp details and a smooth surface finish. There are no airholes evident on the parts in my sample. As mentioned, the insulation batting is represented on the parts as they existed on the real thing. The parts fit together very well and are drop-in replacements for the kit engines. There are no instructions in the kit, but then you don't really need any. Just assemble the two parts, paint them silver (or cover them in Bare-Metal Foil or your favorite metalizer) and install them on the thrust plate of the Dragon kit.
