This kit represents the satellite launch vehicle that resulted from outfitting decommissioned Titan II ICBMs with new payload shroud and new control systems. The resin parts for the main rocket body are solid, with crisply molded details and no apparent airholds. The detail molded into the airframe is remarkable! The interstage truss is molded in place on the first stage top half: you'll need to carefully remove the resin transport support ring. The other resin parts are also still on their pour plugs and are also crisply molded. The engine bells are nicely hollowed out. There is some flash, particularly on the fragile thrust support structure parts and on the parts for the included to help the model stand up for display. Extra parts are included which is nice in case you mess up during construction. The instruction sheet includes a short program history, graphical assembly steps, with detailed insets and a template for creating a display stand using sheet styrene and the included resin parts. A wraparound painting and decal guide finishes up the instructions.
