LTV AMU

The LTV AMU was flown on the Gemini 9 mission, but since this was only the second US spacewalk, the exertions required for EVA were not quite understood. Cernan worked so hard trying to get strapped into the AMU that his visor fogged over and the EVA was cut short. Cernan was lucky to be able to get back into the spacecraft while being unable to see. The AMU was also supposed to be flown on the Gemini 12 mission, but mission planners decided to concentrate on regular EVA activities instead.
