Kitbashing the Estes Apollo/Saturn5 Anni. kit, adding motor mounts, CRs from Balsa Machining built this 5 motor clustered flying model in 1/100 scale.

Using my drill press as a verticle lathe, turned the two nose cones from balsa. Section of BT cut off since the CSM is not seen from the outside. Will use the pattern as a template to emboss aluminum duct tape to be wrapped around tube. The original plastic capsule is on the right.
