Here's what Kent has to say about the model:
The fit was not that good. The fin roots molded to the lower body were thinner in width than the fins so a lot of filling was required. I had to do more filling on the upper and lower body too. I dropped the stupid thing midway through assembly and broke off the tip of the nose. I replaced it with a sewing needle faired in with super glue. The stand was the most disappointing part of the kit. The metal was very grainy and required many coats of primer to get smooth. The tubular support struts and leveling jack handles were useless so I replace them with styrene parts.
I painted the model with Polly Scale, my first project with this paint. I really like it but did have problems getting a fine feathered edge.
