Lunar Module Falcon
Marlon sends the following notes about his Lunar Modules:
The "black" area are really very dark grey painted over an very thin aluminum foil provided to me by my local pizza restaurant. Interestingly the restaurant is named "Houston Pizza " and they are have won the award for best pizza in Canada more than once. Personally I have never tasted better pizza anywhere. A good reason to build more LM's !
The gold foil is by Bare Metal Foil.
I have found that if aluminum is tinted with German W.W.II RLM grey a colour very close to the beigish-greenish tinted panels used on the real LM will be the result. I use straight aluminum and aluminum bare metal foil for the rest of the ascent stage "silver" area. You can see these shades in "Falcon" . The sicon white is gloss white tinted with aluminum.
When I built "Falcon" the rover quad was a mystery and of course after I finished it, good photos were published of this quad with the rover packed.
