Bensen X-25A
Al sent the following notes about this model:
- The majority of it is built from round and square styrene rod. This includes the body, seat, engine case, pusher prop, and rotors. The tail and fin/rudder were cut from thin styrene sheet.
- Wheels are from the parts box, as are the brackets that support the
engine and the fuel tank. The engine cylinders were taken from a resin WW1 rotary engine.
- To represent the natural metal aluminum finish, I painted it with
Floquil Old Silver paint.
- USAF "stars and bars" decals were from an MAI sheet for the Hound Dog
and Quail missiles. The U.S. AIR FORCE and serial number were printed on clear decal sheet
using a laser printer.
