| Comments: | This kit depicts Douglas Aircraft's proposal that lost to North American's X-15 bid for a high speed research aircraft. The resin parts are crisply molded with engraved panel lines and a smooth surface finish. There is a prominent airhole in one of the main gear doors in my kit, but all other parts appear okay. Some parts will require a bit of cleanup to remove the pour plug remnants and some minor flash. Cockpit detail consists of a pilot's seat, control column and instrument panel. The instruction sheet consists of an exploded assembly drawing with parts list, a short program description and a three view painting and decaling guide. |
