Lunokhod


This is a dynamic, full scale working model of the Lunokhod 2 unmanned moon rover carried to the moon on Luna 21. It landed on January 16, 1973 and represented an improved version of Lunokhod 1. It was faster and carried an additional television camera. It was controlled by a five man crew at the Yevpatoria station in the Crimea.
