Comments:

Parts are solid cast resin with a smooth surface finish. The details
are finely etched, but there are some pinholes. There is some flash
on some of the parts (engines, third stage, and payload adaptor in my
kit). The photoetched parts are used for the interstage trusswork and
the escape panel stabilizers on the Zond portion of the nose shroud.
The stiff wire is to represent the strapon tank braces. The
instruction sheet contains a short history of the launch vehicle
family and the Soviet manned lunar program, text assembly instructions
and a side-view drawing. A text painting guide and a list of Proton
photo and drawing references completes the instruction sheet.
