The resin parts are beautifully cast with crisp details and no apparent airholes, but with some minor flash around the more delicate parts. All parts need to be removed from their pour plugs. Parts are numbered on the pour plugs for easy identification, so be sure not to remove them until they are needed. The photoetched parts are also identified by part numbers etched next to each part. A full interior is included, so you will probably want to leave the hatch off to show off that detail. The wire is to be cut and formed into various antennae and other details. The instruction booklet is common to both the Sputnik 4 and Sputnik 5 kits and consists of multiple exploded assembly drawings with the parts called out by their part numbers. It's not mentioned in the instructions, but step 20 is for Sputnik 5 only. There is no painting guide, so you will need to find additional references for that.
