This kit provides an open hatch option for the Revell/Monogram Apollo Spacecraft kit. It provides the frame as well as the hatch itself. The resin parts are molded with crisp details. There is some flash and hints of a couple of air bubbles that will need some cleaning up. The smaller parts also need to be removed from the pour runner. The instruction sheet is a set of graphical assembly steps, with templates to cut the acetate for the hatch window (interior and exterior) and for the brass rod to be cut into the lock linkage rods. Each step also has painting directions for the parts. A template is also included to guide cutting out the hatch on the Revell kit part.
