Project Mercury Photos
Unmanned Capsules

This capsule was production vehicle number 14 that flew aboard two Little Joe tests (flights 5A and 5B). While it was a production vehicle, it was not manrated. It did verify the production capsule's ability to handle max Q abort situations. The capsule was on display in the Virginia Air and Space Center in Hampton, Virginia.
