| This painting inspired the Apollo 13 mission logo. It originally hung in the lobby of an old New York city hotel, and it disappeared when the hotel was torn down years ago. It later appeared at a space memorabilia auction, and none other than Tom Hanks bought it and donated it to Lovell to display over the restaurant lobby bar. |
