Master modeller Ben Guenther scratch-built this wonderful model of the Lunar Landing Research Vehicle. He has this to say about the model:
The model represents the LLRV circa October, 1964. Around the time of its first flight. Forgot to have a ruler or anything in the picture for scale, but it's 1/48 and not very big about 6.5" long, 4" wide and 3" high. Conservatively, it has 2,414 pieces in it. The engine was built with 584 pieces, and it gimbles in 2 axes as the original.
Base kit: none
