The parts are crisply molded with sharp details. Wrinkled foil texture is molded into the exterior of much of the spacecraft. There are are some airholes, primarily in the main thruster cap in my kit. Most parts are still attached to their pour plugs. The main body is hollow to represent the unpressurized cargo bay. To display the opened bay, you will need to cut out the prominently raised area on the body. Parts are provided for the bay's pallet. The solar panels are individually molded rectangles and will need to be applied all around the spacecraft. The instructions include a photograph of the parts, with the parts labeled by number which are then referenced in the following assembly steps. Drawings show how the end caps align to the main body and where the RCS and main thrusters are to be mounted. A wraparound guide shows where each solar panel rectangle is to be placed. Handrail locations are also shown, but you will need to provide your own materials to form the rails. No painting guide is included, so you're on your own there, although the color assembly photos and the photo of the completed model on the box cover can help.
